via New York Times: Coronavirus Live Updates: More Than 100,000 Americans Have Died From the Coronavirus

The US death toll from COVID-19 has just passed 100,000 today. How many of those deaths were preventable with a better federal response? My heart goes out to everyone who has lost a loved one, and my thoughts and prayers are with all who are suffering at this time. We will get through this, together.
